What is K.I.D.?
Kids in Discipleship (K.I.D.) is a mentoring ministry that is conducted in local churches. K.I.D. is designed for families and focused on children. During K.I.D. events:
- Parents grow as disciples of Jesus and become disciple-makers to their children.
- Children learn to walk daily with Jesus and are mentored to use their gifts in worship, ministry and mission.
- Families grow closer to each other and to Jesus. Together they participate in weekly interactive small group Bible studies and enjoy take-home resources designed to facilitate spiritual mentoring in the home.
- Congregations embrace children as a vital part of today’s church.
